Unlocking Vanellope von Schweetz in Disney Dreamlight Valley brings a burst of arcade energy and sweet-themed adventures to your village. Upon reaching Friendship Level 2 with her, you unlock the Extreme Biome Makeover quest. This mission tasks players with transforming a section of the valley into a sugary paradise and assembling a custom kart.
Planting and Harvesting Candy Seeds
To kick off the quest, speak with Vanellope to receive ten special Candy Seeds. Plant these seeds in any biome of your choice and water them using your Royal Watering Can. They grow rapidly in about one minute, after which you can harvest the Candy Cane Sprouts and return them to Vanellope.
After handing over the sprouts, Vanellope will convert them into festive decor items. She will then request that you establish a candy-themed zone around her home using these fresh decorations.
Decorating the Valley Candy Zone
To satisfy the makeover criteria, open your Furniture menu near Vanellope's house. You must place five Giant Lollipops, five Candy Cane Trees, and fifty pieces of Sugar Cookie Pavement. Placement is flexible, allowing you to design a track or a charming pathway according to your preference.
Once your decorative setup meets the requirements, report back to Vanellope. She will express her enthusiasm for the environment but point out that her iconic Sugar Rush kart is missing.
Gathering Ingredients for Kart Components
Building the kart requires baking several parts at a cooking station using specific ingredients. You will need six wheat, five sugar cane, four eggs, two butter, and one milk. Eggs, butter, and milk can be purchased directly from Chez Remy's pantry.
Combine these ingredients with the special fudge syrups provided by Vanellope. Cook one Sugar Kart Seat, one Sugar Kart Tail, and four Sugar Kart Wheels before handing the baked pieces back to her.
Collecting Mechanical Parts and Pastry Glue
Although the baked components form the body, the vehicle still requires internal hardware and an adhesive. Head over to Wall-E's house and look for sparkling items on the floor to collect three pieces of Electronic Junk and two Power Sources.
Next, consult Remy to secure super sticky frosting glue for the vehicle assembly. Deliver all the mechanical parts and glue back to Vanellope to conclude the quest while she prepares her kart.
